The Ardrey Kell Knights football team (Charlotte, NC), dropped 24-7 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC)

With the win, Porter Ridge advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Pirates host West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC) to battle the Titans in a non-league contest on Friday, September 5. The Titans enter the contest with a record of 1-1. West Forsyth lost 31-17 in their recent non-league contest against Grimsley (Greensboro, NC)

Coming up next, the Knights battle the Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 5. Ardrey Kell will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Mavericks enter the contest with a 2-0 record after their 38-12 non-league win over Ballantyne Ridge (Charlotte, NC).
