New Mexico High School Football - Fort Sumner/House trounces Mescalero Apache
August 29, 2025: Fort Sumner, NM 88119 In Friday's non-league match, the host Fort Sumner/House football squad scored a decisive 64-0 triumph over the Mescalero Apache Chiefs.
The (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Tatum (Tatum, NM). The Coyotes come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record.
The Chiefs now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mesilla Valley Christian School for a 8-Man District 3 (8 Man) battle on Friday, September 12. Mescalero Apache will play a SonBlazers team coming off a 52-40 non-league win over Clayton (Clayton, NM). The SonBlazers record now stands at 2-0.
