Texas High School Volleyball - Weiss Smithson Valley

August 29, 2025: Spring Branch, TX 78070

Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Weiss Wolves (Pflugerville, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Rangers (17-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX). The Chargers go into the 5A Region IV District 26 test with a 13-2 record. In their last test, Boerne-Champion went down by Wimberley (Wimberley, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Wolves now sport a 22-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Austin for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 3. Weiss will face a Maroons squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA). The Maroons record now stands at 19-2.
