Texas High School Volleyball - Brennan can't hold off Smithson Valley

The Smithson Valley Rangers tipped the host Brennan Bears volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Rangers confront the Veterans Memorial Patriots (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 26 game, on Tuesday, August 19. Smithson Valley will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Patriots enter the game with a 3-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Medina Valley (Castroville, TX).

With the loss, Brennan drops to 5-1 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Sotomayor (San Antonio, TX) to clash with the WILDCATS in a 6A Region IV District 28 bout on Tuesday, August 19.
