The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) and the visiting Capital Cougars (Charleston, WV), saw Ripley's volleyball squad beat Capital by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Ripley upgrades its record to 6-0 on the year. The Vikings host Wahama (Mason, WV) to play the White Falcons in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 1. The White Falcons go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Wahama lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Tyler (Sistersville, WV)

The Cougars now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hoover for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 30. Capital will play a Huskies squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Buffalo (Buffalo, WV). The Huskies record now stands at 1-1.
