West Virginia High School Volleyball - Nitro edged by Capital
October 4, 2022: Charleston, WV 25311 The Capital Cougars held off the visiting Nitro Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Cougars now have a 11-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Poca for a non-league test on Thursday, October 6. Capital will confront a The Dots team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV). The The Dots record now stands at 8-10.
The Wildcats (6-14) will now prepare for their test against Sissonville (Charleston, WV). The Indians enter the Cardinal test with a 5-14 record. In their last test, Sissonville was nudged by Ripley (Ripley, WV), 2-0, in a non-league test.
