The Cougars now have a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Groesbeck for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 30. Leon will confront a Goats team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Kaufman (Kaufman, TX). The Goats record now stands at 7-8.
The Goats (7-9) will now prepare for their test against Leon (Jewett, TX). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 16-4 record. In their last test, Leon gained a win over Brazos (Wallis, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.
