The Homer-Center Wildcats football team (Homer City, PA), dropped 19-6 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA)

With the win, Marion Center advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Stingers host Cambria Heights (Patton, PA) to encounter the Highlanders in a Heritage bout on Saturday, September 7. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Cambria Heights won 51-0 in their recent league bout against Purchase Line (Commodore, PA)

The Wildcats now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Penns Manor for a Heritage bout on Friday, September 6. Homer-Center will encounter a Comets team coming off a 20-6 league win over West Shamokin (Rural Valley, PA). The Comets record now stands at 2-0.
