The River Valley Panthers (Blairsville, PA) football tipped the visiting Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA), 28-21 in Friday's league outing.

The Panthers now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northern Cambria for a Heritage outing on Friday, October 18. River Valley will clash with a Colts squad coming off a 41-22 league win over Conemaugh Township (Davidsville, PA). The Colts record now stands at 7-1.

With the defeat, Marion Center drops to 5-3 on the campaign. The Stingers host Penns Manor (Clymer, PA) to clash with the Comets in a Heritage outing on Friday, October 18.
