In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Sahuaro Cougars volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Nogales Apaches.

The Cougars (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ). The Colts come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Buena was beaten by Rincon/University (Tucson, AZ), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Apaches meet the Walden Grove Red Wolves (Sahuarita, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 3. Nogales will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Red Wolves come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Douglas (Douglas, AZ).
