Texas High School Volleyball - Pasadena Memorial Ball

Ball Tornadoes (Galveston, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the host Pasadena Memorial Mavericks (Pasadena, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Tornadoes (12-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Almeta Crawford (Rosharon, TX). The Chargers enter the non-league challenge with a 14-2 record. In their last challenge, Almeta Crawford beat Angleton (Angleton, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mavericks meet the Dawson Eagles (Pearland, TX) in a 6A Region III District 22 challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Pasadena Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 9-13 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 17-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to O'Connor (Helotes, TX).
