Fans at Friday's league battle between the La Porte Bulldogs (La Porte, TX) and the host Ball Tornadoes (Galveston, TX), saw La Porte's volleyball squad notch a victory over Ball by a score of 3-1.

With the win, La Porte improves its record to 22-13 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TX) to encounter the Indians in a 5A Region III District 20 battle on Tuesday, October 14. The Indians go into the battle with a record of 13-20. Santa Fe won 3-2 in their recent league battle against Iowa Colony (Iowa Colony, TX)

The Tornadoes now own a 15-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Friendswood for a 5A Region III District 20 contest on Tuesday, October 14. Ball will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 league win over Texas City (Texas City, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 30-8.
