Ball Tornadoes (Galveston, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball team overcome the host Iowa Colony Pioneers (Iowa Colony, TX), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Tornadoes (13-13) will now prepare for their challenge against La Porte (La Porte, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 5A Region III District 20 challenge with a 15-12 record.

Next, the Pioneers meet the Santa Fe Indians (Santa Fe, TX) in a 5A Region III District 20 challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Iowa Colony will attempt to upgrade on its 14-14 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 6-17 record after their 3-0 league win over Angleton (Angleton, TX).
