The Carmel Corsairs volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Deerfield Warriors to 0 in the Corsairs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Corsairs now have a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grayslake Central for a non-league game on Saturday, August 30. Carmel will confront a Rams squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL). The Rams record now stands at 1-1.

The Warriors (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL). The Bears go into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Lake Zurich gained a win over Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
