Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Deerfield Warriors (Deerfield, IL) and the host Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL), saw Deerfield's volleyball squad notch a victory over Lake Forest by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Deerfield improves its record to 5-6 on the season. The Warriors travel to York (Elmhurst, IL) to encounter the Dukes in a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. The Dukes go into the battle with a record of 7-2. York lost 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL)
