Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Hinsdale Central Red Devils (Hinsdale, IL), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Lincoln-Way East improves its record to 2-3 on the season. The Griffins travel to Metamora (Metamora, IL) to meet the Redbirds in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 30. The Redbirds come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Metamora won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against El Paso-Gridley (El Paso, IL)

Next, the Red Devils meet the St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 4.
