September 20, 2025: Hinsdale, IL 60521 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Waubonsie Valley Warriors (Aurora, IL) and the host Hinsdale Central Red Devils (Hinsdale, IL), observed Waubonsie Valley's volleyball team top Hinsdale Central by a count of 2-0.
The Warriors (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Metea Valley (Aurora, IL). The Mustangs go into the battle with a 12-6 record. In their last battle, Metea Valley dropped by Minooka (Minooka, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
The Red Devils now own a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lyons for a West Suburban- Silver contest on Tuesday, September 23. Hinsdale Central will meet a Lions team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL). The Lions record now stands at 10-5.
