August 31, 2023: Richmond, VA 23229 In Thursday's league contest, the Deep Run Wildcats (Glen Allen, VA) volleyball squad were winner over the host Freeman Mavericks (Richmond, VA), by a margin of 3-1.
Next up, the Wildcats face the Midlothian Trojans (Midlothian, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 1. Deep Run will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record.
With the loss, Freeman moves to 2-2 on the year. The Mavericks host Hanover (Mechanicsville, VA) to face the Hawks in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 5. The Hawks go into the contest with a record of 2-1. Hanover won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Clover Hill (Midlothian, VA)
