California High School Volleyball - North over Whitney
August 31, 2023: Torrance, CA 90504 North Saxons (Torrance, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Whitney Wildcats (Cerritos, CA), 3-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Saxons battle the San Pedro Pirates (San Pedro, CA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, September 6. North will attempt to advance on its 8-2 season record. The Pirates come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Legacy (South Gate, CA).
With the loss, Whitney drops to 2-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Pioneer (Whittier, CA) to battle the Titans in a 605 match on Thursday, September 7. The Titans come into the match with a record of 2-6. Pioneer lost 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA)
