August 31, 2024: Burbank, IL 60459 St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Lemont Lemont HS (Lemont, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, St. Laurence improves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Vikings host Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL) to face the Spartans in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 4. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 0-2. Marian Catholic lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL)
The Lemont HS now own a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whitney Young for a non-league test on Saturday, August 31. Lemont will face a Dolphins squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL). The Dolphins record now stands at 0-2.
