Georgia High School Volleyball - Franklin County edged by Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy

Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy (Winder, GA) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Franklin County Lions (Carnesville, GA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Hart County (Hartwell, GA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Hart County edged Elbert County (Elberton, GA), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Lions now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McDonough for a non-league test on Saturday, August 9. Franklin County will face a Warhawks squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA). The Warhawks record now stands at 1-1.
