Match Summary
First game of the season against Mars, one of the best teams in the WPIAL, if not the state. Our 'Hawks played valiantly in both the JV and the Varsity games, but ended up losing both (JV 3-0, Varsity 6-1). Both of our goaltenders (Caden Smail-V and Brendan Savinda-JV) made some brilliant saves and our defense played tough all around.
Tyler Sanders scored our lone goal (unassisted), which had two big accomplishments: it was Tyler's first regular season Varsity goal and it was the first goal Armstrong scored against Mars in 7 years. Hopefully our young men will build on today as we move forward.
