Mississippi High School Volleyball - Picayune bounced by Long Beach
September 10, 2024: Long Beach, MS 39560 Long Beach Bearcats (Long Beach, MS) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Picayune Maroon Tide (Picayune, MS), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, Long Beach improves its record to 10-7 on the season. The Bearcats host Hancock (Kiln, MS) to face the Hawks in a Class 6A Region 4 test on Thursday, September 12. The Hawks go into the test with a record of 18-7.
The Maroon Tide now own a 5-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pascagoula for a Class 6A Region 4 test on Thursday, September 12. Picayune will face a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to George County (Lucedale, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 3-13.
