September 19, 2024: Picayune, MS 39466 The George County Rebels volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Picayune Maroon Tide to 0 in the Rebels league triumph on Thursday.
The Rebels now possess a 14-6 record. They play next when they travel to Purvis for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 21. George County will play a Tornadoes team coming off a 3-0 league win over Sumrall (Sumrall, MS). The Tornadoes record now stands at 18-7.
With the loss, Picayune drops to 5-18 on the campaign. The Maroon tide host Pascagoula (Pascagoula, MS) to play the Panthers in a Class 6A Region 4 outing on Saturday, September 21. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 3-15.
