Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Community School of Davidson Spartans (Davidson, NC) and the host Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC), saw Community School of Davidson's volleyball squad notch a victory over Hough by a score of 3-1.

With the win, Community School of Davidson improves its record to 10-0 on the season. The Spartans travel to Langtree Charter Academy (Mooresville, NC) to encounter the Lions in a Catawba Shores 2A/3A/4A battle on Thursday, September 11. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 5-7. Langtree Charter Academy lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC)

Next, the Huskies meet the Hopewell Titans (Huntersville, NC) in a Greater Charlotte 7A/8A contest, on Thursday, September 11. Hough will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Titans enter the contest with a 2-11 record after their 3-0 league win over West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC).
