New York High School Soccer - Guilderland held off by Shaker
September 11, 2025: Guilderland Center, NY 12085 In Thursday's league contest, the Shaker Bison (Latham, NY) soccer team edged the host Guilderland Flying Dutchmen (Guilderland Center, NY), by a margin of 1-0.
The Bison now hold a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Albany for a Suburban Council- Gray challenge on Tuesday, September 16. Shaker will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Ballston Spa (Ballston Spa, NY). The Falcons record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Guilderland moves to 0-2 on the year. The Flying dutchmen travel to Niskayuna (Niskayuna, NY) to encounter the Silver Warriors in a Suburban Council- Blue challenge on Tuesday, September 16. The Silver Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Niskayuna won 8-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Schenectady (Schenectady, NY)
