New York High School Soccer - Albany held off by Shaker
September 16, 2025: Albany, NY 12203 In Tuesday's league contest, the Shaker Bison (Latham, NY) soccer squad nipped the host Albany Falcons (Albany, NY), by a margin of 3-2.
The Bison now hold a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Ballston Spa for a Suburban Council- Gray challenge on Thursday, September 18. Shaker will battle a Scotties team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY). The Scotties record now stands at 2-2.
The Falcons (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Bethlehem Central (Delmar, NY). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Bethlehem Central held off Averill Park (Averill Park, NY), 5-1, in a league contest.
