The Hershey Panthers overwhelmed the visiting Chase County Longhorns softball squad by a count of 12-0 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Highway 6 Trailblazers (Holdrege, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. Hershey will attempt to move on its 3-10 season record. The Trailblazers come into the outing with a 2-7 record after their 17-5 non-league loss to Polk County (Stromsburg, NE).

With the loss, Chase County moves to 1-7 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Gothenburg (Gothenburg, NE) to encounter the Swedes in a C District outing on Saturday, September 13. The Swedes come into the outing with a record of 7-7. Gothenburg won 21-12 in their recent non-league outing against Bayard (Bayard, NE)
