The Summit Shasta Black Bears volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting University Prep Academy Golden Eagles to 0 in the Black Bears non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Black Bears now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to The Nueva School for a Private School - Bay outing on Thursday, September 18. Summit Shasta will confront a Mavericks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Gunn (Palo Alto, CA). The Mavericks record now stands at 2-2.
