Virginia High School Soccer - Covenant held off by New Covenant

The New Covenant Gryphons held off the host Covenant Eagles soccer squad by a margin of 3-2 in Tuesday's league match.

The Gryphons now sport a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Timberlake Christian for a non-league match on Thursday, September 14. New Covenant will encounter a Tornadoes squad coming off a 4-1 league win over Temple Christian (Madison Heights, VA). The Tornadoes record now stands at 3-3.
