The Blue Ridge Barons held off the visiting New Covenant Gryphons soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Tuesday's league match.

The Barons now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Hargrave Military Academy for a Blue Ridge Athletic match on Thursday, September 7.
