With the triumph, Jones County improves its record to 9-5 on the year. The Greyhounds host Eastside (Covington, GA) to face the Eagles in a non-league contest on Monday, September 16. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 13-0. Eastside won 2-1 in their recent league contest against East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA)
The Wildcats now hold a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Stockbridge for a 4A Region 2 contest on Monday, September 23.
