Iowa High School Football - B-G-M falls to Madrid
September 12, 2025: Brooklyn, IA 52211 The Madrid Tigers were winner over the host B-G-M Bears football squad by a margin of 53-27 in Friday's league test.
The Tigers now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Earlham for a A District 6 test on Friday, September 19. Madrid will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 42-7 non-league win over Panorama (Panora, IA). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, B-G-M drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA) to meet the Hawks in a A District 6 test on Friday, September 19. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 2-1. Lynnville-Sully won 62-6 in their recent league challenge against Martensdale-St. Mary's (Martensdale, IA)
