North Sand Mountain Bison (Higdon, AL) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Cedar Bluff Tigers (Cedar Bluff, AL), 34-6 in a league battle.

With the win, North Sand Mountain advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Bison host Gaston (Gadsden, AL) to confront the Bulldogs in a 2A Region 7 match on Friday, September 19. The Bulldogs come into the match with a record of 1-2. Gaston lost 34-12 in their recent non-league match against Woodland (Woodland, AL)

Coming up next, the Tigers confront the Section Lions (Section, AL) in a 2A Region 7 match, on Friday, September 19. Cedar Bluff will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Lions go into the battle with a 0-4 record after their 35-12 league loss to Sand Rock (Leesburg, AL).
