Texas High School Football - Sharyland defeats Mission

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Sharyland Rattlers football squad scored a good 33-25 victory over the Mission Eagles.

The Rattlers (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest (Pharr, TX). The Javelinas enter the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest was topped by Corpus Christi Moody (Corpus Christi, TX), 35-7, in a non-league battle.

The Eagles now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Vela for a 5A-1 Region IV District 16 battle on Friday, September 19. Mission will confront a Sabercats squad coming off a 52-10 non-league win over Harlingen (Harlingen, TX). The Sabercats record now stands at 2-1.
