The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Poquoson Islanders (Poquoson, VA) and the host Tabb Tigers (Yorktown, VA), witnessed Poquoson's football squad knock off Tabb by a tally of 21-10.

The Islanders (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Grafton (Yorktown, VA). The Clippers enter the Bay Rivers contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Grafton gained a win over Gloucester (Gloucester, VA), 38-9, in a league contest.

Next up, the Tigers encounter the New Kent Trojans (New Kent, VA) in a Bay Rivers bout, on Thursday, September 18. Tabb will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 35-8 league loss to Lafayette (Williamsburg, VA).
