September 13, 2022: Dalton, GA 30721 Coahulla Creek Colts (Dalton, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors (Fort Oglethorpe, GA), 5-2 in a league challenge.
The Colts now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southeast Whitfield County for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 14. Coahulla Creek will face a Raiders squad coming off a 11-0 league loss to Central (Carrollton, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 2-10.
With the loss, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Ringgold (Ringgold, GA) to face the Tigers in a 3A Region 6 challenge on Thursday, September 15. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 3-8. Ringgold lost 2-1 in their recent league challenge against LaFayette (LaFayette, GA)
