The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Ralston Rams (Ralston, NE) and the visiting Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE), observed Ralston's softball squad nip Pius X by a score of 9-2.

With the triumph, Ralston improves its record to 10-3 on the year. The Rams host Oak Park (Kansas City, MO) to face the Northmen in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 13. The Northmen enter the contest with a record of 1-3. Oak Park lost 14-1 in their recent league contest against Park Hill (Kansas City, MO)

The Thunderbolts now hold a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Neumann for a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 16. Pius X will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Mercy (Omaha, NE). The Cavaliers record now stands at 15-2.
