In Thursday's league match, the visiting North Schuylkill Spartans football squad scored a good 38-15 victory over the Tamaqua Blue Raiders.

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Northern Lehigh Bulldogs (Slatington, PA) in a Colonial-Schuylkill - Red match, on Friday, September 22. North Schuylkill will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 45-20 league win over Pine Grove (Pine Grove, PA).
