In Thursday's league battle, the host Conway Wampus Cats volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Central Tigers.

The Wampus Cats (10-3) will now prepare for their battle against Jonesboro (Jonesboro, AR). The Hurricane come into the 6A Central battle with a 1-7 record.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Parkview Patriots (Little Rock, AR) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 18. Central will attempt to advance on its 8-4 season record.
