Georgia High School Softball - Oglethorpe County can't get by Social Circle
September 15, 2022: Social Circle, GA 30025 In Thursday's league contest, the Social Circle Redskins (Social Circle, GA) softball team held off the visiting Oglethorpe County Patriots (Lexington, GA), by a margin of 4-3.
With the triumph, Social Circle moves its record to 11-3 on the year. The Redskins host Madison County (Danielsville, GA) to play the Red Raiders in a non-league contest on Monday, September 19. The Red Raiders come into the contest with a record of 9-9. Madison County won 8-5 in their recent league contest against East Hall (Gainesville, GA)
In their next game, the Patriots play the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines (Athens, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 5 contest, on Tuesday, September 20. Oglethorpe County will attempt to move on its 13-5 season record.
