The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Union Grove Lions (Gladewater, TX) and the visiting Jefferson Bulldogs (Jefferson, TX), saw Union Grove's volleyball squad nip Jefferson by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Union Grove upgrades its record to 11-16 on the year. The Lions host Leverett's Chapel (Leverett's Chapel, TX) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 12-16. Leverett's Chapel lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Carlisle (Price, TX)
