Texas High School Volleyball - Hawkins Union Grove
August 19, 2023: Gladewater, TX 75647 The Union Grove Lions prevailed the visiting Hawkins Hawks volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's league test.
The Lions now have a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Garrison for a non-league test on Saturday, August 19. Union Grove will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Marshall (Marshall, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-8.
The Hawks (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Carlisle (Price, TX). The Indians enter the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Carlisle dropped by Cumberland Academy (Tyler, TX), 3-1, in a non-league test.
