September 15, 2025: Albemarle, NC 28001 The The Math and Science Academy of Charlotte - Concord Campus Lions volleyball squad (Charlotte, NC), was defeated 3-0 in Monday's non-league challenge with the host Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC)
The Bulldogs (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against North Stanly (New London, NC). The Comets enter the Yadkin Valley 2A/3A challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, North Stanly was beaten by West Stanly (Oakboro, NC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lions meet the HOPE Academy Royals (Concord, NC) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 18. The Math and Science Academy of Charlotte - Concord Campus will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Royals go into the test with a 5-5 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Carolina International (Concord, NC).
