The Union Academy Cardinals prevailed the visiting Albemarle Bulldogs volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.

The Cardinals now possess a 9-1 record. They play next when they host The Math and Science Academy of Charlotte - Concord Campus for a non-league outing on Monday, September 8. Union Academy will clash with a Lions team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Langtree Charter Academy (Mooresville, NC). The Lions record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Albemarle drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to North Rowan (Spencer, NC) to clash with the Cavaliers in a Yadkin Valley 2A/3A outing on Wednesday, September 10.
