The Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins held off the host Hickory Hawks volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Dolphins now have a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to J.R. Tucker for a non-league test on Saturday, September 16. Cape Henry Collegiate will confront a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Hermitage (Richmond, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-3.

The Hawks (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Grizzlies enter the Southeastern test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Grassfield was nudged by Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA), 3-1, in a league test.
