September 16, 2023: Center, MO 63436 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Mark Twain Tigers (Center, MO) and the visiting Marion County Mustangs (Philadelphia, MO), witnessed Mark Twain's softball squad prevail over Marion County by a count of 8-0.
The Tigers now sport a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Madison for a non-league match on Monday, September 18. Mark Twain will face a Panthers squad coming off a 18-10 non-league loss to Jamestown (Jamestown, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 3-7.
With the loss, Marion County moves to 2-3 on the season. The Mustangs host North Shelby (Shelbyville, MO) to face the Raiders in a Class 1 District 10 match on Tuesday, September 19.
