Missouri High School Softball - South Shelby bounces Mark Twain
September 23, 2023: Center, MO 63436 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the South Shelby Cardinals (Shelbina, MO) and the host Mark Twain Tigers (Center, MO), witnessed South Shelby's softball squad tip Mark Twain by a count of 6-2.
The Cardinals now sport a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Centralia for a non-league match on Monday, September 25. South Shelby will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 9-2 non-league win over Harrisonville (Harrisonville, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 11-6.
With the loss, Mark Twain moves to 7-8 on the season. The Tigers travel to Community (Laddonia, MO) to meet the Trojans in a non-league match on Monday, September 25. The Trojans go into the match with a record of 16-5. Community won 6-0 in their recent non-league match against South Shelby (Shelbina, MO)
