September 16, 2024: Bristol, RI 02809 The Mt. Hope Huskies walloped the visiting Classical Purple football team by a score of 50-12 in Monday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Huskies face the Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 23. Mt. Hope will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Chieftains go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 21-6 non-league win over East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI).
The Purple (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against North Providence (North Providence, RI). The Cougars go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, North Providence was ripped by Johnston (Johnston, RI), 30-8, in a non-league challenge.
