September 16, 2024: Ryan, OK 73565 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Velma-Alma Comets (Velma, OK) and the host Ryan Cowboys (Ryan, OK), observed Velma-Alma's softball team prevail over Ryan by a tally of 13-2.
The Comets (10-12) will now prepare for their bout against Elmore City-Pernell (Elmore City, OK). The Badgers go into the 2A bout with a 7-13 record. In their last bout, Elmore City-Pernell knocked off Wayne (Wayne, OK), 12-4, in a non-league bout.
